Kate Middleton’s lacy gown is a bridal dream – and we’ve found bargain versions

Kate Middleton has donned many iconic looks throughout her career. The stunning white lace Self-Portrait dress the Duchess of Cambridge wore to the A Street Cat Named Bob movie premiere in London in 2016 will always be one of her most cherished and stunning outfits.

Everyone, from refined European royals to famous people like Paris Hilton, rushed to buy Kate’s white floral lace gown with a cinched-in waist and billowing pleated maxi skirt.

This summer’s ‘Hazel’ lace top pleated wedding dress from Reiss is a perfect example of how iconic and universally flattering this dress is.

This dress is just as stunning as Kate’s and is currently on sale for just £195, down from £328. It has beautifully crafted lace detailing on the fitted, figure-flattering bodice and the maxi skirt’s silhouette-enhancing pleats.

The fabric-covered buttons on the wrists and the opening at the back of this dress, which is ideal for a summer wedding, add an extra special touch.

The brand undoubtedly has the royal seal of approval since Kate famously wore a stunning blue Reiss button-up dress for her very first public address at the opening of “The Treehouse,” a hospice service for Suffolk and Essex back in 2012.

These two gorgeous white lace and pleated skirt wedding dresses are available at ASOS and eBay in a variety of sizes, and we couldn’t wait to share them.

There is a perfect way to wear this dress for the summer, even though Kate paired her vintage-inspired lace white gown with rich Bordeaux-hued Gianvito Rossi heels and a matching Mulberry clutch in the fall.

During the summer, Kate enjoys donning white lace and revealing accessories.

Take a cue from Kate and choose a pair of neutral-colored shoes and a bag. Kate did this when she wore a white lace dress by Dolce & Gabbana to Royal Ascot in the summer of 2016 and when she wore a decadent white lace dress by Alexander McQueen the following summer.
