Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s summer plans with children Archie and Lilibet

Prince Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan have a busy few months ahead of them now that they have returned to their family home in Montecito, California, following their visit to London for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The Sussex family is busy with several work projects in the summer of 2022, as well as caring for their two children, Archie Harrison, three, and Lilibet Diana, one. Of course, we’re sure the foursome will take advantage of the beautiful LA weather, local beaches, and their stunning home pool.

Prince Harry is a keen polo player

Harry and Meghan are currently hard at work on their new podcast Archetypes, which will premiere this summer after a one-off Christmas special in 2020.

The couple has been working on the details of their podcast for over a year, with Lili and big brother Archie making an appearance in the first episode.

The Prince is also working on his memoir, which will be published by Penguin Random House later this year. Harry “will share, for the first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him,” according to the publisher.

The couple has also allowed cameras into their home for a new Netflix documentary, so their Montecito mansion is probably buzzing right now.

Harry has returned to his favorite sport, polo, and was recently spotted competing with the Cancha de Estrella’s Polo Club in Santa Barbara. Harry “trains four times a week and goes to the gym most days to keep up with star player Nacho Figueras,” according to MailOnline.

We know Meghan and Harry are devoted parents to Archie and Lilibet back at home with the kids.

A foldable, three-wheeled scooter was seen among the family’s luggage when they returned to California after their UK visit, and we can just imagine young Archie whizzing around his home’s incredible seven-acre gardens.

The Sussexes’ private jet was photographed offloading a charming wooden swing, which could have been a gift from Harry’s family for their children, according to The Sun. We’re curious if it’s already up in their backyard for the kids to enjoy?

We know the family has a chicken coop and a vegetable garden at home, which they tend to with their son. They also enjoy walking their dogs on the beach and cycling around the neighborhood, both of which they will do this summer.

On the 4th of August, the Duchess turns 41, so perhaps there will be a party for her with close friends and family?

If the family wants to take a vacation, they have a lot of options thanks to the holiday homes of famous friends.

Serena Williams, Meghan’s close friend, lives in Florida, while George Clooney and his wife Amal spend their summers in Italy at their Lake Como home. Harry and Meghan visited Elton John’s villa in the South of France in 2019; will they return?

The Sussex family is looking forward to a fun-filled and productive summer!
