During her visit to London, the Duchess of Sussex had a packed schedule, not only attending events commemorating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, but also celebrating her daughter Lilibet’s first birthday.
Meghan Markle, on the other hand, was able to find some downtime during her eventful time abroad, as a friend revealed what she got up to.
Sarah Chapman, a British skincare expert, revealed on social media that she had the opportunity to meet and cater to Meghan during a brief respite from the festivities.
“What a wonderful weekend celebrating our inspiring Queen’s 70th birthday!” she began. Throughout the four days, there were so many incredible events and positive energy.”
“It was wonderful to catch up with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, to meet sweet little Lilibet, and to give Meghan a facial to enhance her natural glow,” she continued.
“I always enjoy seeing my clients and friends glow at these fabulous events, and I think she, along with many other familiar faces, looked so graceful and radiant.” “-SC”.
During the Jubilee, Prince Harry and Meghan were seen at Trooping the Colour on Thursday and again at the Service of Thanksgiving on Friday.
The couple, however, were absent from Saturday’s festivities, which included the Platinum Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace.
The couple reportedly left for the United States before the fourth day of celebrations ended, and their private jet was spotted landing in Santa Barbara.
According to The Sun, the family of four was driven to the airport from their Frogmore Cottage home and took off in the afternoon, during the Platinum Jubilee Pageant.
They were not only absent from the Pageant festivities, but also from the Queen’s final surprise appearance on Buckingham Palace’s balcony.
