Following their appearance at the grand parade, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and little Prince Louis, along with their mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, went to the Major General’s Office to watch the rest of the show.

The young Cambridge children could be seen watching the military parade through the large windows.

And there was one particularly touching moment that went largely unnoticed. As the Irish Guards continued to parade, Prince Louis, four, was seen leaning slightly out the window and saluting them.

Charlotte looked stunning in a cornflower blue gown, while Prince George wore a blue suit and looked dapper. Meanwhile, Prince Louis looked adorable in a sailor suit inspired by the navy.

The Cambridges had just made their carriage debut with mother Kate and the Duchess of Cornwall, and the crowds had erupted in applause.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, dressed in light blue, navy, and white, have previously attended the annual event, but not in this capacity.

They had previously only appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony with their parents to wave to crowds and watch the RAF flypast.

The carriage carrying the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn, was followed by another carrying the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, as well as Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the Princess Royal’s husband, rode in the final carriage.

The Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge, and the Princess Royal rode in behind in their uniforms, resplendent in their military regalia – including their new Platinum Jubilee medals.
