Prince Harry reveals rare details about Archie and Lilibet’s daily routine

While speaking about mindfulness with tennis superstar Serena Williams and BetterUp CEO Alexi Robichaux, Prince Harry made rare comments about his eldest child Archie.

Harry revealed that his only son has already started school while discussing mental fitness. “Even if you do have 15 minutes slate of white space, I now put in about half an hour or 45 minutes in the morning when I’m like ‘Okay, one of the kids has gone to school, the other one is taking a nap,'” Alexi explained when asked how he improved his own mental health. He went on to say how he spends his free time improving himself, saying, “It’s either for worksouts, taking the dog for a walk, getting out into nature, maybe meditation.”

But he was able to admit that when other commitments began to pile up, self-care was “the first thing to go.”

Harry has not spoken about his son’s education, who will turn three later this year, but it must be an exciting time for the family as their eldest begins this journey.

During a webinar about mental resilience and BetterUp’s Inner Work initiative, the Duke of Sussex spoke with Serena and Alexei.

The royal joined the company in March of last year, and has previously stated that they will be working “more with service members, veterans, and their families” in the future.

“I’ve actually discovered recently, courtesy of a chat with [BetterUp science board member] Adam Grant, that a lot of the job resignations you mention aren’t all bad,” the Duke said in a Q&A with Fast Company last December.

“In fact, it’s a sign that self-awareness necessitates change.” Many people all over the world have been stuck in jobs that don’t make them happy, and they’re now prioritizing their mental health and happiness. This is a cause for celebration.”

Serena has been friends with Meghan, Harry’s wife, for a long time, and the Duchess of Sussex regularly cheers on Serena at tennis tournaments.

I agree that making time for self care is essential, and is usually the first to go when under stress or the demands of life. I also agree that it’s important to work in a job where you are doing something you love. When you love what you do, it’s not like working at all. I’ve always understood this. I’ve held a few jobs that I loathed and I didn’t last long because I’d quit. If a job is a mismatch with me, I leave.

Keep taking care of you and our kids. Give them snuggles for me and tell them that I love them.
