On the occasion of the Queen’s 96th birthday,Prince William and Kate have paid a heartfelt tribute to her.
The royal couple chose two touching photos to go with their message, the first of which shows William and Kate showing the monarch around the Duchess’s Back to Nature Garden at the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show.
The Queen and her late husband, Prince Philip, pose with seven of their great-grandchildren in the second photograph. Princess Charlotte sat in between the monarch and the Duke, striking a playful pose, and Prince George stood to the side as the monarch held little Prince Louis on her lap.
Savannah Phillips can be seen standing behind the sofa with her sister Isla, as well as her cousins Mia and Lena Tindall, Zara Tindall’s children.
The sweet family photo was taken in 2018 at Balmoral Castle by keen photographer Kate, and shows the monarch and her late husband in a more relaxed state.

A new photo of the Queen enjoying the spring sunshine while holding the reins of two of her beloved ponies has been released by the Palace in honor of the monarch’s birthday.
She was flown by helicopter to Sandringham on Wednesday, where she is celebrating her milestone birthday in privacy. The Queen is staying at Wood Farm, a modest cottage where the Duke of Edinburgh spent his final years of retirement.
Over the years, the royal couple spent many happy weekends there together, and the Queen will no doubt reminisce about fond memories.
