On Mother’s Day, March 27, British Queen Elizabeth II has extended candy needs to all those (apparently including Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle) who are celebrating Mothering Sunday.
To commemorate the day, Buckingham Palace released an unseen photograph of the Queen with her mother and sister, along with a candy message from the monarch.
The palace used a Tulip flower emoji to convey Queen Elizabeth’s message.
“Wishing all those celebrating today a very special Mothering Sunday,” the Queen writes in her message. #MothersDay.”
The royal fans were quick to flood the comment section with coronary heart emojis.
At Windsor Castle, Queen Elizabeth is celebrating Mother’s Day with the royal family.
Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has returned to the UK from a Caribbean tour to celebrate the day with her children, whereas Meghan Markle will celebrate the day in the United States on May 8.
The Queen has posted a touching throwback photo of the Queen Mother with her two daughters to commemorate Mothering Sunday.
The touching portrait, commissioned in 1941, depicts Her Majesty as a young woman with her sister Princess Margaret and the former Queen Elizabeth.
Marcus Adams, a British society photographer, took the photograph during his final sitting with the young Princesses at Windsor Castle, where they spent the majority of WWII.
Elizabeth wore a four-stringed pearl necklace and a diamond paisley brooch, while the Princesses wore matching suits and blouses.
The caption on the sweet photo shared by the Royal Family on Twitter read: ‘Wishing all those celebrating today a very special Mothering Sunday.’
‘Great photo of HM The Queen Mother and TRH the Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret,’ one fan wrote, while another wished Her Majesty a happy Mothering Sunday.
‘What a lovely picture, happy Mother’s Day to Her Majesty The Queen and everyone else celebrating today,’ said another.

The Queen Mother, who was born Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon in London on August 4, 1900, would go down in history as the country’s longest-serving and best-loved Royal.
She met her future husband at a dance in May 1920, as the fourth daughter and ninth child of Lord and Lady Glamis.
They married in April 1923 at Westminster Abbey and had two daughters, Elizabeth, now the Queen, and Princess Margaret.
She became the first British-born Queen Consort since Tudor times when her husband, King George VI, was crowned King George VI on December 12, 1936, following King Edward VIII’s abdication crisis.
When her elder daughter, Queen Elizabeth II, became Queen Elizabeth II on February 6, 1952, she chose to be known as Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.
The Queen Mother was in mourning for three months before embarking on a life of public service marked by grace and energy that made her a popular figure among the British public.
She gained a special place in the public’s affection over the next 50 years, and she continued to carry out her royal duties well into her second century.
The Queen Mother’s last public appearance was on November 22 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, when she re-commissioned the aircraft carrier Ark Royal.
Despite illness in her final months, she flew by helicopter from Sandringham to Windsor to attend Princess Margaret’s funeral, which took place on February 9 after she suffered a stroke.
The ostensibly indestructible Royal matriarch was determined to attend the funeral, but she appeared pale and hidden behind a black veil.
The Queen mother died six weeks after the funeral at Royal Lodge, her Windsor home, having outlived her husband King George VI by 50 years.
