At their Montecito home in California, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are raising their two children, Archie, two, and Lilibet, nine months.
Many royal fans will be wondering if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will follow in the footsteps of Harry’s older brother, Prince William, and try for a third child now that they are no longer performing royal duties in the United Kingdom. After all, now that they are no longer performing royal duties in the United Kingdom, they have more time to spend with their children.
Doting father Harry, on the other hand, has previously expressed his desire to limit the number of children he has.
In a Vogue Magazine interview with Dr. Jane Goodall in July 2019, Prince Charles’s son said: “I think I’ve always had a connection and a love for nature, strangely enough, because of the people I’ve met and the places I’ve been fortunate enough to visit. Without a doubt, I see it differently now. But, even before having a child and hoping to have children, I’ve always wanted to make sure that…”
Jane then joked, “Not too many!” in response to his brood’s size.
The Prince reassured her, saying: “Maximum of two! But I’ve always had the impression that this location is rented. And, surely, as intelligent or evolved as we all are, we should be able to leave something better for the next generation.”
So, if Harry is still of the same mind, and if Meghan agrees with her husband, there will be no more Sussex children in the future.
Zara Tindall, Harry’s cousin, gave birth to her third child, Lucas Philip, in 2021, and her husband Mike revealed that their family is now complete as well.
Mike shared his feelings about Lucas’ birth on The Good, the Bad, and the Rugby podcast after his son was born. He revealed the following: “‘Yep, snip, snip, snip, snip, snip, snip, snip, snip, snip, snip, snip, snip, snip, snip, snip, snip, snip, snip, I’m leaving. I’m leaving now.”

On their website, Harry and Meghan announced Lilibet’s arrival, writing: “Lili, our daughter, arrived on June 4th, and we were overjoyed. She is everything we could have hoped for, and we are grateful for the love and prayers we’ve received from all over the world. Thank you for your continued kindness and support as our family goes through this difficult time.”
