Meghan Markle gives sweet update on her three-month-old daughter Lilibet

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are on a whirlwind tour of New York, their first official engagements together since relocating to Santa Barbara after stepping down as senior royals.

The couple met with politicians Bill de Blasio and Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the US ambassador to the United Nations, on Saturday to discuss the pandemic, racial justice, and the mental health crisis.

The sweet detail Meghan revealed about their three-month-old daughter Lilibet—whose name has significant meaning for the royals—was perhaps the most telling part of their whistle-stop tour.

On Saturday, a reporter asked, “Meghan, how’s Lilibet?” as they walked between engagements. To which she replied, “She’s beautiful.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have yet to release an official photo of Lilibet, instead sending private photos of her to the royal family via Whatsapp.

The location of Lilibet’s christening has yet to be determined by Prince Harry and Meghan. Despite the fact that Archie was christened in a private ceremony in the United Kingdom, the couple has since moved to America and taken a back seat as senior royals, which could mean they will break tradition with Lilibet’s christening as well.

“They seem to have very fixed views about the privacy of family occasions,” royal commentator Adam Helliker told The Sun.

“I believe that having the christening in the United Kingdom will put too much pressure on them. And I believe Meghan will stand firm and say, “No, we don’t want an international circus.”

Despite their love for their two children, Archie and Lilibet, the couple is believed to have decided not to have any more children for the sake of the planet and overpopulation.

In a 2019 interview with environmentalist Dr. Jane Goodall, Harry stated that he wanted “two, maximum!”

“However, I’ve always thought: this place is borrowed,” he added. And, surely, as intelligent or evolved as we all are, we should be able to leave something better for the next generation.”
