A personal assistant and deputy personal secretary are needed by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Both positions are maternity cover, according to the Royal Household website.
The personal assistant “ensures that TRH’s official and private arrangements run smoothly.”
They will be in charge of wardrobe requirements as well as budgets.
The ideal candidate will be discreet and have excellent management and communication abilities.
The personal secretary of the Cambridges is assisted by the deputy personal secretary in the “smooth running” of their office.
Diary management, meeting planning, and engagement preparation are just a few of the responsibilities.
Administrative duties such as drafting correspondence, maintaining databases, and filing are also part of the deputy personal secretary’s job description.
Someone with previous secretarial and administrative experience is required by the royal couple.
Kensington Palace, the Cambridges’ official London residence, serves as the headquarters for both roles.
The maternity cover positions come as William and Kate are rumored to be expecting their fourth child.
They already have three children: Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three.
Duncan Larcombe, a royal expert, said earlier this year that he “wouldn’t be surprised” if the Cambridges have another child.
“I don’t think Kate and William have ever ruled out the possibility of baby number four,” he told OK! magazine.
“Their children bring out the best in them, and Kate is a natural mother who adores her kids.
“Despite her focus on her royal duties, Kate prioritizes her family.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if they decided to have another child.”
“Kate has made no secret of her desire for a fourth child, but William has always been content with three,” royal author Katie Nicholl added.
