Prince William has the sweetest picture of Prince George and Prince Philip is his office

On Friday morning, Prince William took to Instagram to promote a new book about the Earthshot prize, Earthshot: How to Save Our Planet, and in the process, he shared the cutest family portrait.

Prince William could be seen typing on a typewriter in the 15-second video shared on social media, but fans couldn’t help but notice an adorable family photo displayed just behind him.

The photograph in question was released following the death of Prince Philip’s grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, and shows Prince Philip and a two-year-old George riding in a horse carriage together.

The Duchess of Cambridge took the candid photo outside her and William’s former home in Norfolk.

The video was released on the same day that the royal announced The Earthshot Prize, revealing that it was inspired by an incredible trip.

“The Duke set himself the challenge of ‘What is the maximum positive personal contribution I can make in the next ten years in the fight against climate change?'” said Jason Knauf, CEO of The Royal Foundation. What will I do in the next decade that will allow me to look my children in the eyes and say, “I did my part?” Every aspect of the Prize is emblazoned with his imprint.”

In an introduction to Earthshot: How to Save Our Planet, Prince William discusses the early discussions that led to the creation of The Earthshot Prize and why he was inspired by President John F. Kennedy’s Moonshot programme, which brought millions of people together to achieve the goal of reaching the moon.

The crucial moment, according to the future King, was when he went to Namibia early in the morning to try to catch a glimpse of black rhino.

“The rich wildlife that I saw thriving on that visit struck a real chord,” William writes in the book’s introduction. The community conservancy model is an excellent example of how a simple, positive solution can benefit both humans and nature.

“Most importantly, it’s a success storey that can be scaled up and replicated.” I wanted to find a way to mass-produce that innovation and community spirit around the world.”
