18 times Kate Middleton looked her happiest in public

When carrying out her royal duties, Kate Middleton often appears to be the picture of joy. When she meets members of the public or is surrounded by her family, Kate usually has a bright smile on her face.

Wimbledon is one of the Duchess’ summer highlights, and she appeared ecstatic to be back courtside in July 2021 after the tournament was postponed last year. Kate beams as she hands the Venus Rosewater Dish trophy to Ashleigh Barty of Australia, who defeated Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic in the Ladies’ Singles Final.

After the Cambridges’ royal train tour of the UK, Kate and Prince William were reunited with the Queen and senior royals at Windsor Castle in December 2020.

In a sweet nod to her grandmother-in-law, the Duchess was even wearing a pair of the monarch’s diamond earrings.

When she joined William for an engagement at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn in July 2020, she radiated a stunning glow.

During the visit, which commemorated the NHS’s 72nd anniversary, the couple were seen happily conversing with staff and volunteers.

At Royal Ascot in 2019, Kate and Prince William made a high-profile appearance. The mother-of-three looked radiant during the outing, dressed in a stunning pale blue Elie Saab ensemble. Kate was seen bursting into fits of laughter while mingling with fellow racegoers on several occasions, according to royal watchers.

In the second carriage, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall. As the foursome shared a joke, Kate burst out laughing.

When I stopped to speak with Zara Tindall, she appeared to be in good spirits. After hugging each other, the two royals appeared to be engrossed in conversation.

On the day before her Royal Ascot 2019 appearance, Kate looked stunning as she joined members of the royal family at Windsor Castle for the annual Order of the Garter service.

While waiting for the procession to begin, the Duchess was seen chatting with Queen Maxima of the Netherlands at the Galilee Porch.

In 2019, Duchess Kate was the center of attention at a gala honoring Addiction Awareness Week. As she made her way inside, the royal happily smiled at the flashing photographers. Barbara Casasola’s long white off-the-shoulder jersey midi dress, which suited her figure perfectly, was her choice for the occasion.

 

In 2019, Kate made a stunning appearance at Trooping the Colour. The world could see how happy the Duchess looked as she walked around with Prince William and their three children. It was a once-in-a-lifetime chance for fans to see all five Cambridge children out and about, as they make only sporadic public appearances.

At 14 months old, Prince Louis was in fact attending his first Trooping the Colour. On the iconic Buckingham Palace balcony, the young royal kept his mother entertained.

In April 2019, Kate attended an Anzac Day service at Westminster Abbey with her brother-in-law Prince Harry. As they walked inside, they both appeared to be in good spirits.

Kate looked stunning in a floral Erdem maxi at the Chelsea Flower Show in May 2019. The royal radiated a lovely glow as she soaked up the atmosphere. During a visit to Caernarfon, Wales in 2019, the Duchess of Cambridge looked relaxed in a black turtleneck, black skinny jeans, and a red double-breasted blazer by Philosophy.

Kate was seen speaking with guests at one point, and she seemed especially delighted to meet a young baby.

She was also spotted at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, where she helped to inaugurate the new Rodney Street Centre of Excellence.

In May 2019, the Duchess of Cambridge paid a fascinating visit to Bletchley Park, where she met four women who served in the Intelligence Corps during WWII.

During a visit to London’s Cutty Sark on May 7, 2019, the day after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their first child together, Kate and William appeared to be in good spirits. Kate was overjoyed to be handed a bouquet of flowers as she greeted well-wishers.

The royal couple expressed their joy at the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first child. “It’s such a special time, obviously with Louis and Charlotte having just celebrated their birthdays, it’s such a great time of year to have a baby, spring is in the air,” Kate told reporters.

When the royal family, including Kate, stepped out to attend the Easter Sunday church service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor in 2019, which also happened to be the Queen’s 93rd birthday, they had two reasons to celebrate.

Kate also made an unexpected appearance at the Queen’s Buckingham Palace garden party.

Kate went to Cumbria for a more relaxed away day in June 2019. During her visit to the Lake District, she got into the spirit of farming by trying her hand at sheep shearing.
