Prince Harry’s Memoir Will ‘Focus Heavily’ on Princess Diana and Who He ‘Blames’ for Her Death, Royal Expert Says

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, is releasing a memoir. The 36-year-old is set to publish a memoir about his time as a member of the British royal family. According to a royal expert, it will “focus heavily” on his late mother, Princess Diana.

In July 2021, Prince Harry announced the publication of his memoir.

On July 19, 2021, the Duke of Sussex made his memoir public. The official website of Archewell, the organization founded by Harry and his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has been updated with more information.

He said, “I’m writing this not as the prince I was born, but as the man I’ve become.” “I’ve worn a lot of hats in my life, both literally and metaphorically, and my hope is that by sharing my story—the highs and lows, the mistakes, and the lessons learned—I can show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.”

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned so far in my life,” Harry continued, before adding that he’s “excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that is accurate and wholly truthful.”

According to a royal expert, Prince Harry’s memoir will “heavily” focus on Princess Diana’s death and “who he blames.”

Many of Harry’s book’s pages will be dedicated to his mother. Diana’s death, and who the Duke of Sussex believes is to blame, will be a major focus of the memoir, according to royal expert Angela Levin, who told The Sun in July 2021.

“I’ve been told by a reliable source that Harry’s memoir will be heavily focused on his mother Princess Diana’s death and who he holds responsible,” she said.

When Harry’s mother died in a car crash with two others, including Diana’s then-boyfriend, Dodi Fayed, and driver Henri Paul, he was only 12 years old.

Harry has talked about how losing his mother affected him and shaped many years of his life. Harry opened up about using alcohol and drugs to numb the pain of Diana’s death on an episode of The Me You Can’t See, the mental health series he co-produced with Oprah Winfrey.

“I was willing to drink, take drugs, and try to do things that made me feel less like I was feeling,” he explained.

Harry visited a therapist. Throughout it all, he has remained true to Diana’s legacy. Most recently, a statue of the late royal was unveiled in Kensington Palace’s Sunken Garden.

The memoir of Prince Harry will be published in 2022.

According to the official announcement, Harry’s memoir will be released “tentatively” in late 2022. So don’t be surprised if the release date is pushed back. Random House will release hard copies and an audiobook in the United States. Harry intends to donate the entire profit from the book to charity.
