Lucky Charm! Prince George Joins Dad Prince William to Cheer on England’s Soccer Team in Euro 2020 Final

Prince George joined Kate Middleton and Prince William as they watched England play in the Euro 2020 final match.

In the Euro 2020 final, Prince William and his family are cheering on the home team!

On Sunday, William, who is the President of the Football Association, appeared in person to support England’s soccer team as they faced Italy in the final of the soccer (or football, as it is known in the United Kingdom) tournament. The Duke of Cambridge didn’t have to travel far because the match was held at Wembley Stadium in London.

When the team advanced to the quarterfinals, he was joined by Kate Middleton and their 7-year-old son Prince George, who was also in the stands with his parents.

The young royal and his father wore matching outfits, with both opting for sharp blazers and a red and blue tie, as they did last time. Meanwhile, Kate wore a white blazer to represent her country’s colors.

England scored their first goal just two minutes into the championship match, giving them something to cheer about right away.

David Beckham and Tom Cruise were also in attendance, fist bumping after the early goal.

William sent a video message to the entire team before the match, wishing them “the very best of luck.”

Prince George celebrates the goal with his mother Catherine and father William

“I just want to wish everyone in the England team, on and off the bench, the best of luck tonight. What a team effort this has been “he stated “Every member of the team has contributed to the team’s success. All of the background personnel have been extremely valuable.”

“I can’t believe this is actually happening. It’s very exciting. I just want to wish you the best of luck. We’re all behind you because you bring out the best in England. You have the support of the entire country. Bring it back to your house, “Added he.

William expressed his delight after England advanced to the final after defeating Denmark on Wednesday.

“What a game, and what a finish! England has put in a tremendous amount of effort as a team “he penned “On Sunday, the entire country will be behind you.” He also used the hashtag #ItsComingHome, a reference to the song “Three Lions,” which was released in 1996 to commemorate England’s hosting of the European Championships that year.

The royal family has been watching the Euro 2020 games with bated breath. Despite the fact that it was a school night, he and Kate Middleton and their 7-year-old son Prince George watched England’s victory over Germany last week.

Following the game, William and Kate’s Instagram account posted an excited photo of the trio in the stands, smiling and clapping. They wrote alongside the snap, “Incredible performance @England!”

The royal father was also present at Denmark’s semi-final match on Wednesday, where he reunited with Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark, as well as their son, Prince Christian.

Prince William isn’t the only royal who is looking forward to watching England compete in the final. Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall joined in the fun, inviting the Band of the Coldstream Guards to play “Three Lions” and “Sweet Caroline” in the garden at Clarence House on Wednesday, ahead of the semi-final match.

Princess Eugenie and Sarah Ferguson have also expressed their support for the team on Instagram.
