What Color Are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Son Archie’s Eyes?

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s first child, was born on May 6, 2019. Archie, unlike his royal cousins, is rarely in the spotlight. His parents live in California, and it’s thought that the goal is for him to be able to live more independently. However, because royal fans don’t get to see Archie very often, they have some general questions about him.

Here are the answers to a few of those questions, including his eye color and a few other facts about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son that you might not know.

Archie’s hair and eye color

Several photos of Meghan and Harry’s then-4-month-old son were released when they traveled to South Africa for a royal tour in September 2019.
Archie appeared to have red hair in many of the photos, just like his father. However, in different lighting, his hair appeared to be a shade darker than Harry’s. Nonetheless, fans couldn’t help but notice how much Archie resembled Prince Harry in photos taken when they were both around the same age.

Archie may have inherited his father’s hair color, but Meghan’s eyes are his. Harry has blue eyes, which were originally a shade of blue-green when he was younger, while the tot has brown eyes like his mother.

Archie’s outfit in that photo will undoubtedly sell out. The toddler has already established himself as a fashion icon. Thousands of orders were placed for his pom-pom hat after he appeared with his father in it at the start of 2020, and it sold out in just 48 hours.

You might not know this about Archie, but despite not having a regal title, he is still in line for the throne. Behind his father, he is the seventh in line to the throne.

Archie is a name that means “truthful,” “bold,” or “brave.” It was once a shortened form of Archibald, but it is now used as a stand-alone name. According to Today, “Archie” became the most popular boy’s name in 2019 after his birth. Harrison is, of course, his middle name, which literally means “son of Harry.” In terms of his surname, the hyphenated Mountbatten-Windsor was created in 1960 by combining Queen Elizabeth II’s and Prince Philip’s surnames.
